The Creation Process
How We Create
Depending on the service you’re utilizing, the creation process is different>
Listed below are all of our services, how we provide you that service, and what working with HFM looks like. This page exists for you, so you know exactly what you’re paying for when you work with us! :)
Photography
Photography Creation Process:
Step 1, Start the Conversation: In this step we connect, and talk about the reason why you need Photography Services, what your vision is for said reason, and what your budget is. We discuss hours and rates, and book a date to shoot. You sign the paperwork, and we add you to our Calendar.
Step 2, The Shoot: This step is where we capture those memories and moments that we were hired for! We shoot for the slotted time/rate agreed upon in the first step.
Step 3, The Edits: For this step we offload the photos taken from our SD Cards into Adobe Lightroom (our editing software). We then edit the photos taken. This step typically takes minimum 1-2 hours, maximum 4-5 hours per hour shot and is a crucial step to ensure the photos taken are of the highest quality when you receive them. This is why we discuss budget and vision in the first step, as the amount of pictures taken impacts the edit time and the style of shoot can affect the amount of pictures taken. Once we finish editing all of your pictures, we reach out to you!
Step 4, Exchange of Goods: This is the last step, we let you know we have the finished product ready to go. We send you an invoice, a overview message, and a thank you. Once we receive the funds from the agreed upon price, we send you a link to to the Photo Gallery with all your pictures (we use a service called pixie-set to send out galleries).

Videography
Videography Creation Process:
Step 1, Start the Conversation: In this step we connect, and talk about the reason why you need Videography Services, what your vision is for said reason, and what your budget is. We discuss hours and rates, and book a date to shoot. You sign the paperwork, and we add you to our Calendar.
Step 2, The Shoot: This step is where we capture the video we talked about and visualize moments that we were hired for! We shoot for the slotted time/rate agreed upon in the first step.
Step 3, The Edits: For this step we offload the clips shot off our SD Cards into DaVinci Resolve (our editing software). We then edit the video. This step depends the length of the video we’re creating, the amount of clips we’re working with and what the budget for the video is. This is why we discuss budget and vision in the first step, as these are important factors that factor into the flow of the creation process. Once we finish creating the video, we reach out to you!
Step 4, Exchange of Goods: This is the last step, we let you know we have the finished product ready to go. We send you an invoice, a overview message, and a thank you. Once we receive the funds from the agreed upon price, we send you a link to to the Video (we use a service called pixie-set to send out galleries).

Web/Graphic Design
Web/Graphic Design Creation Process
Step 1, Start the Conversation: In this step we connect, and talk about the reason why you need Web/Graphic Design Services, what your vision is for said reason, and what your budget is. We discuss a flat fee that factors in hours and rates, and book a timeline. You sign the paperwork, and we add you to our Calendar.
Step 2, The Work: This step is where we create what that we were hired for! We work till the product is done. Services we use for this creation process: Canva, Hand Drawn designs (digital and physical), and Squarespace (web designer).
Step 3, Exchange of Goods: This is the last step, we let you know we have the finished product ready to go. We send you an invoice, a overview message, and a thank you. Once we receive the funds from the agreed upon price, we send you the product.
